Book bags for Children in Foster Care - Updated
With nearly 500 children in foster care in Wake County, the Outreach Team is inviting you to provide sturdy book bags for these children as they head back to their traditional year in school. The sizes should include smaller ones for children in elementary school as well as regular-sized book bags for middle and high schoolers.
The outpouring of school supplies has been very generous, and moving forward, we are hoping to receive more book bags. If you have already purchased school supplies, we appreciate those donations as well.
Drop off. You can drop off the donations in the Narthex on Sunday, July 25 when you attend worship, or bring them to the FMB on Sunday, August 1 from 9 am - 11 am. Thank you for supporting children in foster care.
