Look for collection bins in the Faith Ministries Building.

Sign Ups begin this Sunday at the table in the narthex, or by the sign in table at outside worship, or outside the FMB at other events. Everyone is encouraged to participate—even pets are welcome. If you are not able to get to church to sign up please contact Janet Livengood. Can’t participate?? You can sponsor another walker. Information on how to sponsor a walker is available at the signup table. On the four Thursdays in October the sanctuary will be open from 11:00 - 12:00 in the morning and again from 5:00 - 6:00 in the afternoon for prayer and meditation. Materials to use during this time will be available. Most of the prayer shawls and lap blankets made by our members have been distributed by our deacons. You are invited to sew, knit, crochet (or any creative technique) a shawl for those in the church undergoing surgery or illness. We have fleece fabric available for an easy, lovely shawl! Contact [email protected] for fabric. Note in the Pocket Socktober: The youth group is holding a sock and underwear drive this October! All donations will go to Note in the Pocket -- a non-profit organization that provides clothes to impoverished children in Wake County. Starting on Sunday, October 10th, the youth group will be collecting brand new and in-the-package socks and underwear in all sizes (infant through adult) before and after church. If you don't have the chance to purchase these items, donations will be accepted, and the youth group will go buy socks and underwear together. Youth group members, remember to bring your donations to youth group!!
