The coats we collect will be distributed here in our local community, to children and adults in need. How you can help us share warmth--Simply go through your closets and pull out your gently worn coats, wash them and bring to the Faith Ministries Building where there will be a bin labeled One Warm Coat—IT’S THAT EASY!! Don’t have a coat to donate? You are welcome to purchase a new coat OR you may make a monetary donation. Make your check out to NRPC with One Warm Coat in the memo. The first opportunity to bring your coat to church will be on Sunday, December 13 during the Advent Pageant. You may also bring your coat to donate during the Christmas Eve Services. Additional times to drop off coats will be listed in enews. Angel Tree Sign Up Thank you to everyone that signed up. All slots are filled. October Outreach: 2020 has been a unique and challenging year. Even as our lives have been disrupted there are those who have worked tirelessly to keep all of us fed. The Outreach Committee has chosen to donate to a group of people that are not always remembered for their contributions. The essential workers are the Migrant Farm Workers of NC #masks4farmworkers-nc. This predominantly Hispanic community has been hard hit with the virus. This October the food drive will go to the Migrant farm workers of NC. Below is a brief list of suggested items that are specifically needed. In addition and thanks to Presbytery we are also contributing 1,500 cloth masks.
