​Adult Lenten Bible Study: For Adults a Lenten Bible Study led by both Lisa and Brandon will begin February 26 and continue weekly until April 2. More opportunities for adults and children are to come in 2023—if you would like to help plan some of these opportunities you are encouraged to talk to Debbi Freer, the Christian Education team chairman.

Children’s Church: Children preschool and older are invited following the children’s message to gather for a lesson and light snack before returning for the end of worship. This program shares lessons of faith with our young children while enabling parents a chance to listen without distraction. Volunteers are needed for Children’s Church—the lessons and materials you need are provided so it’s pretty easy. Contact me if you are willing to help with this important program.​

Music ministry opportunities for the fall:
 
Adult Choir meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7 - 8:30 p.m. We will begin practices on August 31. Our first Sunday leading worship will be Sunday, September 11.
 
Adult Bell Choir meets weekly on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. We will begin practices on August 30. We lead worship monthly.
 
Joyful Ringers is a new bell choir opportunity for those that prefer to meet during the day.
 
Youth Music is for 6th - 12th grade students. We will meet weekly on Sunday mornings from 9 - 10 a.m. Our first practice will be September 11. This group leads worship monthly.
 
Children's music is for students ages 5 - 5th grade. We will meet weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Our first practice will be August 31.
 
The NRPC orchestra leads worship as needed. Please contact Terri Nicotera if you are an instrumentalist and are interested in participating in the orchestra. All instruments, ages and abilities welcome!

VBS @ NRPC The Greatest Commandment is Love will be held August 8-11,
5:45-7:15pm. Bible stories, music, art, games, food and fellowship for all ages.

NRPC College and High School graduates will be recognized on Sunday, May 22. Please contact the church office if you wish to list your graduate's information.

Note in the Pocket Socktober: The youth group is holding a sock and underwear drive this October! All donations will go to Note in the Pocket -- a non-profit organization that provides clothes to impoverished children in Wake County. Starting on Sunday, October 10th, the youth group will be collecting brand new and in-the-package socks and underwear in all sizes (infant through adult) before and after church. If you don't have the chance to purchase these items, donations will be accepted, and the youth group will go buy socks and underwear together. Youth group members, remember to bring your donations to youth group!!
