Habitat for Humanity - NRPC is a longstanding Habitat for Humanity partner.

New Hope Presbytery - We support our Presbytery’s unified mission and operating budget needs. NRPC budgets additional financial support for Presbyterian Campus Ministry in Wake County.

North Raleigh Ministry - By supporting this neighborhood ministry, we neighbors in need of food, coaching and care.

Rise Against Hunger - In partnership with Church of the Nativity, NRPC helps to fund our annual food-packing event.

Special Olympics - NRPC contributes to the financial needs of Special Olympics in Wake County.

Collections - Most months we collect food, clothing or other items as needed for our community.

Special Offerings - NRPC participates in PC(USA) special offerings throughout the year. We also make additional contributions for disaster assistance, missionary support, or for other needs as they arise.

Habitat for Humanity - Swing a hammer. Swipe a paintbrush. Push a broom. Build a house.

Helen Wright Center - We provide and serve a meal at the Helen Wright center for women once a quarter.

Nutbush Clothing Donation Drive - Twice a year, we collect clothing to send to Nutbush Presbyterian Church for its free clothing drive supporting families in Vance County.

Rise Against Hunger - In partnership with Church of the Nativity, NRPC packs shelf-stable meals for distribution in developing world countries.

Special Olympics - Apart from our financial support of Special Olympics, we provide lunch for Olympics volunteers.

Buildings & Grounds

Most building repairs and maintenance as well as landscaping tasks are carried out by members of the congregation. Spruce-up events are scheduled several times each year. Reach our Buildings & Grounds elder at Property@NorthRaleighPC.org to offer your gifts for campus upkeep.

Security Response Team

Every Sunday morning a quiet team is on the alert for emergencies of any kind. Contact SRT@NorthRaleighPC.org to take a turn serving on our Security Response Team.

Hospitality Guild

Food is part of NRPC’s love language! If you enjoy cooking or if you enjoy helping set up for or clean up after food events, reach out to an elder via Logistics@NorthRaleighPC.org.

Worship Support

It takes a veritable village to pull off a Sunday morning at NRPC! From liturgists and musicians, to ushers and welcomers, to acolytes and livestream operators (not to mention chancel tenders, and communion preparers) - there’s a place for anyone and everyone to help us worship God on any given Sunday morning. Committees, Teams and Guilds (oh my!)

Decision-making groups are typically called committees or commissions at NRPC (e.g., Worship Committee, Outreach Committee, Ministry Commission).

Project-focused groups are generally called teams (e.g., YardSale Team or VBS Team).

Task-oriented groups - where there’s not a clear beginning or ending for a role - are called Guilds (e.g., Chancel Guild or Youth Leadership)
