September Outreach

When the Outreach Committee chose to reach out to area schools concerning needs for the 2021/2022 school year, we were surprised to learn that rather than school supplies, they were in need of clothing and food items. Because of Covid, families are experiencing homelessness, lack of access to washers and dryers and clothing shortages. These are needs we may not have thought about, but this has been a difficult year for many families.
We are accepting the following items which we will distribute to nearby elementary schools:

• (boys and girls - school appropriate) short sleeve shirts, shorts, pants and leggings, sneakers, socks and underwear. 
• Teachers are also requesting individually packaged snacks to be handed out at school: goldfish, pretzels, cheese crackers, peanut butter crackers, etc. 
• We are also collecting new and used books for children to take home.

Please bring your donations to the entrance of the Faith Ministries Building Sundays this month or drop them by the church office Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 12:00PM.
